Buying Done Right
Home buying can be a nightmare if done wrong; that is why I will make sure you do it right!
The first step to buying a home is planning and preparation. Having a down-payment saved up, or a commitment from other resources is a great place to start. During this time it is also important to obtain a mortgage pre-approval from a bank or your favourite mortgage broker. If you don’t have a preferred lender, I can introduce you to my great contacts in the industry.
With a pre-approval in hand, it is time to view some properties. I will listen to your criteria to make sure that you’re seeing the right places. Showings are one of my favourite things to do. It is fun seeing all the different layouts, locations and styles out there, as well as learning more about you so that I can find the perfect home. Once we find a place you love I will carefully construct an offer with you that doesn’t have any surprises.
After negotiations, and your offer is accepted, the property is pending. This is when it gets busy. To alleviate the stress of what seems to be a never-ending to-do list I will help you every step of the way. Be sure to download my free Home Buyer’s Guide for a detailed outline.
On closing day I will meet you at the property to hand over the keys to your new home. It is always a great feeling walking through the front door. Whether it is your first house or fifth, the feeling never changes.
